Company Information Background Until 1986, Diacad Associates was Tesseract Associates (a New Hampshire DBA set up in 1979). The Diacad mark was federally registered in 1985. | ||||

Consultations and Projects Diacad Associates Past consultation assignments included enhancement of existing graphics systems, evaluation of graphics terminals and software, and participation in a study contract for a major federal (non-military) project. Diacad Associates also undertakes independent and joint graphics system development projects. Notable has been QCAL(tm), a low-cost device independent plotter utility. QCAL was demonstrated at "Europe Software 82" (Utrecht 1982). Virginia Polytech purchased nonexclusive rights to QCAL in 1987. In 1986, Diacad Associates introduced DiaCAD(r), entry-level CADD system, at Micro Graphics trade show (Javits Ctr). Although computer graphics consultation and development were past primary objectives, Diacad Associates presently assembles, maintains, and upgrades IBM-compatible systems and networks. | ||||
